About Transport Layer Security (TLS)

Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a protocol that ensures that a connection is securely encrypted in order to provide privacy and data integrity. Queenstown Bank of Maryland Online Banking use TLS as a key component of security. TLS 1.2 is the most current version and is considered to be the most secure. TLS 1.0 and 1.1 are earlier, now less secure versions.

Queenstown Bank Online Banking

Browsers and operating systems that support TLS 1.2 will, in most cases, use it by default preferring the TLS 1.2 connection over older, less secure encryption protocols. This change will require the use of TLS 1.2 to access Queenstown Bank Online Banking. Online banking users will be required to connect using operating systems and browser version that support TLS 1.2 and ensure that TLS 1.2 is enabled.
