Stay Protected with Real-Time ATM/Debit Card Alerts

At Queenstown Bank, your security is our priority. We use advanced fraud detection to help protect your account. Every time you make a purchase with your Queenstown Bank ATM/Debit Card, our system automatically analyzes the type of purchase, business category, and location. If a transaction appears unusual, we’ll send you an instant text alert.

How It Works:

  • Text Notification from 37268 - If a transaction is flagged as unusual, you'll receive a text message asking you to confirm the purchase.
    • Reply YES - If the purchase is legitimate, your transaction will proceed.
    • Reply NO - If you did not authorize the purchase, your card will be immediately blocked for security. A follow-up text will provide a 24/7 support number so you can contact us for further assistance.
    • No Response? If you do not reply to the text within 15 minutes, you'll receive a follow-up phone call.
    • No Enrollment Required: You're automatically enrolled and you can opt-out at any time.
    • No Texting? No Problem: If your device doesn't support text messaging, you'll receive a phone call instead.
    • No Fees: This service is completely free - there are no messaging rates or fees.
This extra layer of protection helps prevent fraud before it happens, giving you peace of mind every time you use your ATM/Visa Debit Card.

Your Role in Fraud Protection

Lost or stolen cards, identity theft, and skimming are unfortunate realities. Our Premium Text Fraud Alerts provide an extra layer of security, but you are the first line of defense. Monitoring your transactions and responding to alerts can help prevent unauthorized purchases and reduce fraud.
Although customers are able to opt-out of alerts by typing STOP in response to the alert, it is highly discouraged. At Queenstown Bank, we’re committed to being your partner in keeping your account safe—because protecting your financial security is just as important as serving your banking needs.

Quick Reference Guide

Image of two phone screens showing text fraud alerts

The images depict how the text alert will appear on your phone when receiving a text message from short code 37268

The device on the left displays at Queenstown Bank Premium Text Fraud Alert that notified this customer about a purchase at Bob's Hardware and asked if the transaction was valid or not.  The customer responded with YES.  A follow-up text confirms that the purchase activity is valid and will process the transaction.

The device on the right displays the Fraud Alert notifying the customer about a purchase at Bob's Hardware and asked if the transaction was valid or not.  In this example, the customer responded with NO.  A follow-up text confirms that the customer indicated the transaction to be fraudulent, and has placed a hold on the card, preventing any further fraudulent charges from occurring.  A phone number is provided for the customer to call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to follow up about the transaction.

If the customer typed STOP, they would not receive any further Queenstown Bank Premium Text Fraud Alert notifications.  This is not recommended.
